Japanese Delights
Leaving Hong Kong behind Princess Daphne then makes the journey north to
the Japanese prefecture of Okinawa in the Pacific Ocean.
Subsequetly organised is a visit to Tokyo, where you can spend two full days
in one of the most intriguing cities on earth. An optional full day tour of Tokyo
has been arranged, plus a tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone.
Afterwards we come to Kobe where again Princess Daphne will overnight.
Depending on your desires you may wish to take part in the full day tour
arranged to Kyoto or take a trip to Osaka. Also on offer is a Sake Tasting during
the tour to Mt. Rokko.
Our Japanese visit concludes at Nagasaki, one of the two cities, along with
Hiroshima, to come under nuclear fire during the Second World War. The
Atomic Bomb Museum stands as a testament to that terrible time and
catalogues some of the darker events in human history. Today, as in times
before the war, the city has a thriving shipping industry.
Princes Daphne will then reach the Korean Peninsula and the city of Pusan,
before heading to Shanghai in China, where a number of fascinating tours have
been arranged including the Suzhou tour, a full day tour of Shanghai as well as
an evening Shanghai Acrobats show.
You can disembark in Hong Kong or continue on the next sailing to Singapore
via Sanya (China), Halong Bay, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh in
Vietnam and Cambodia. |
