New short sea cruises around Egypt and Jordan have been released for Australians and New Zealanders keen to sail aboard Classic International Cruises’ intimate liner, Arion - the smaller fleet-mate to Australia’s own Athena.
Described by the ‘Bible of Cruising’ – the Berlitz Guide to Cruise Ships – as ‘a charming little ship with character, a relaxed ambience and a warm and friendly crew’, the 328-passenger Arion will offer a series of five and seven-night cruises from Alexandria in Egypt in February and March, 2010.
The voyages feature visits to the sun-drenched beach resorts of Sharm-El-Sheik and Port Said in Egypt and Aqaba in Jordan, Safaga near the ancient Egyptian ruins of Luxor and a cruise through the desert-lined Suez Canal.
