Domestic Cruises - Under the conditions of the liquor license passengers are not allowed to bring liquor on for consumption during domestic cruises. Passengers exceeding this allowance will have the liquor stowed and returned upon disembarkation. |

| Beach Towels: | Towels from the cabin may not be taken ashore. Beach towels will be made available for use ashore, under deposit. | ||||||||||||||
| Beverages: | Bar and Wine lists are available to assist you in your choice of beverages. | ||||||||||||||
| Bridge Visits: | There will normally be an opportunity during Cruises of 7 days or more for passengers to visit the Navigational Bridge. Visits are generally scheduled during days at sea. Your cruise staff will provide details on board. | ||||||||||||||

Children over 5, teenagers and parents will be invited to join in special activities during cruises over school holiday periods. Any passenger under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or over. Guests under 18 not traveling with their parents must bring a signed written letter of consent with them. Onboard prices for cruises in the Australian programme are in Australian dollars, unless otherwise stated. A cashless system operates and we accept Visa(credit card ), MasterCard (Credit Card), cash and Australian traveler’s cheques to settle onboard accounts. Diners, American Express, personal cheques and Debit Cards are not accepted. For all passengers who decide to pay their onboard expenses with a credit card an initial authorisation will be done to check the validity. At the end of the cruise once the bills have been finalised, the system once more does a final authorisation for the outstanding balance of each passenger. With the final authorisation the actual charge is processed. MV Athena is part of an international fleet and credit card payments onboard maybe subject to international banking transaction fees. Please check with your bank. On cruises of 3 nights or less the cashless onboard system ceases at 5pm on the last night and purchases are then cash only. Passengers on cruises of more than 20 nights may opt to make payments twice – once in the middle of the cruise and one at the end. |
