Carrying just 328 passengers in comfort and style, the Arion is
an intimate cruise liner of great charm and character. Smaller
than many of today's mega ships, the Arion is able to visit new
and exciting destinations not visited by larger cruise ships.
Of course all the modern conveniences are provided, including
ship stabilisers, air conditioningand private en-suites in cabins.
But the focus of the Arion and its staff and crew, is firmly on
friendly and attentive service in an intimate setting. It's cruising
as it was meant to be - with a sense of the ocean and all its
mystery, of exploration, adventure and nautical traditions.
Arion Facilities
The Arion's public catering facilities include two lounges, a
Piano Bar, a Club Room, two enclosed promenades, a casino, shop,
hair salon, photo shop, medical centre, outdoor pool and excursion
office offering a wide selection of shore excursions, all offered
at Australian dollar prices.
There are 162 well appointed cabins and over 75% have an ocean
view. All cabins have private en-suite facilities, a television
for in-house movies, telephone, music, a mini safe for valuables
and a hair dryer. Eleven different cabin categories are available,
ranging from standard to junior suites.
Our dedicated cruise staff and entertainment team provide superb
daytime activities from early morning aerobic classes on the Lido
deck to quizzes and port information talks in the Main Lounge
or games in the pool ! And in the evening, there's a superb dining
experience waiting for you in the restaurant where you will enjoy
a variety of internationally themed meals (French, Italian and
Asian nights) prepared by our Executive Chef and his team followed
by evening entertainment including maybe a "sing-a-long"
with new found friends in the Piano Bar and/or watching a production
show and caberet in the Main Lounge - all in a special convivial
ambience. Finish off the night with dancing in the late-night
Lido Dance Club or a quiet walk on the deck! Do it ALL or nothing
